Tasting notes

Pale rosé with subtle peach‑hued highlights. A precise and focused aromatic profile, with luminous fruit aromas of vineyard peach and perfectly ripened pear, layered with a seductive note of mango and papaya. A crystalline hint of fresh grapefruit cuts through, lending vibrancy and lift. An elegant palate, silky in texture, unfolding with quiet confidence - an expansive burst of flavour, pronounced in length, with a clean, refreshing finish that invites you to savour a perfectly relaxed moment.

An overhead view of a group of five people gathered around an outdoor dining table on a patio, sharing a meal and raising glasses in a toast. The scene features warm natural lighting, a white tablecloth, and a mix of casual dining attire.
Couple with a dog enjoying a meal outdoors in a vineyard.

Our story

After years of dreaming and scheming, Jeany and Stephen made the decision to leave the leafy suburbs of South London behind in exchange for the blue skies and sunshine of Provence.

Armed with big ambitions to make a world-class rosé wine, and willing to challenge established wisdom, they founded Mirabeau. They embarked upon the ultimate family adventure and created one of the world’s most loved brands of rosé.

Provence rosé is a pale, dry wine from the South of France, known for its fresh fruit flavours and elegant, refreshing style. It's the most famous region in the world for rosés and where today's famous pale pink style originated. Only Rosés from the designated area (AOP) can carry the Provence name on label and only the best vineyards and wines can be within the Appellation, which has strict production rules. Mirabeau offers a lovely range of Provence rosé wines, from easy-drinking favourites like Classic Rosé to more complex, gastronomic cuvées like Etoile Rosé

Maison Mirabeau was founded in 2010 by Jeany and Stephen Cronk, a British-German couple, who sold up and moved from London to Provence to pursue their dream of making rosé. Mirabeau was started from their spare room to become one of the most recognised brands working in Provence and beyond. The couple have always focussed on their respective strengths on key areas of the business- Jeany has worked on marketing and creative and Stephen on commercial, as well as spearheading their sustainability and regenerative efforts. Both are still active in the day to day and representing the brand worldwide.
